The Bundesverband der Deutschen Luft- und Raumfahrtindustrie [German Aerospace Industries Association] is a lobby organization that represents the interests of the German aerospace industry.₁ One of its main areas of focus is the military part of the industry. Many of the association’s more than 230 member companies are involved in the armament industries, e.g. Airbus, Lockheed Martin Overseas Services, Rheinmetall Technical Publications, Thales Group, and thyssenkrupp aerospace.₂ The Association is one of the main organizers of the biennial Internationale Luft- und Raumfahrtausstellung near Berlin,₃ which is Germany’s largest arms show₄.
