For 25 years, urgewald has been fighting against environmental destruction and for the rights of people harmed by corporate profit interests by organizing campaigns against e.g. banks, armaments concerns, und pension funds, who fund or initiate destructive projects. urgewald is a non-profit environmental and human rights organization with offices in Sassenberg and Berlin. Over the years, urgewald has led many successful campaigns and today it plays a key role in efforts to establish strong, binding environmental and social standards for international finance and investment.
